Hello, this is Sami.
The best season to take a walk has arrived here.
Autumn is the most beautiful but also the season which I feel sad,
when I see the leafs falling down.
Wind and rain are taking down a lot of the leaves.
Anyway, today I have a chai latte with my friend.
and he asked me about the best way for me to spend time on your free time.
humm... since I’m pessimistic, I didn’t think up the best time ever.
After saying goodbye, I kept thinking about it.

私が本当にリラックスしてる時ってあるのかなー？
I could say that most of Danish people were likely to have good own ideas.

i want talk about Mr. Ikegami, even this topic seems to be far from Danish daily life.
he is a person who I’ve admired for a long time.
I’ve never seen such a knowledgeable person.
“studying is to protect yourself.”
This quote was from one of awesome teachers in CA school and still sticking in my mind.

そして知り続けることは
誰かのためじゃなくて
自分を守る武器になるからだと思う。
That’s why we need to keep studying.

自分の考えを人に伝えるのは大変だけど、
なぜ自分の意見を持ってるのに主張しないのか？
相手のことを知るのも大事だけど、

today after I came back to home,
I’ve enjoyed talking with my roommate without thinking about how many time was passed.
I think it was more than for 3 hours...
but she is like my older sister
so I talked with my worries, romantic love and everything I’m thinking now!
That would be helpful for me to make myself relieved from stress.
Because in these days I’ve forgotten what I’ve accomplished.
i just kept looking ahead to my future
so I took my studying abroad in Denmark for granted.

Class at University in Denmark
Hello, this is Sami
today there was something interesting about class at uni in Denmark.
i supposed that Denmark was very friendly for exchange student.
Such as they have a lot of English class.
and also, even if there is only one person who don’t understand Danish, the professor switch Danish to English in class.
but one of my friends felt so awkward in class to study math today.
in her class, there was only her who didn’t understand Danish.
but new professor didn’t realize that so kept proceeding class in Danish.
So she couldn’t catch up with what to do.

even though Denmark is very friendly for non-Danish people.
what is culture?

can you explain for certain what is culture?
i think it’s difficult to define it, because it’s covered with huge range of things.
So I researched the meaning of it on internet.
According to one of anthropologists,
culture encompasses religion, food, what we wear, how we wear it, Language, marriage, music, what we believe is right or wrong, how we sit at the table, how we greet visitors, how we behave with loved one and a million other things.

何がカルチャーか余計わからなくなった
だけど１つ言えるのは
上にあげた例を１つ１つ友達と話せれば
楽しいだろうなーと思う。
Why I picked up this here is that I was asked by my friends today when I had lunch with them.
but I didn’t think up anything for certain.
なんでだろう、、と考えると
頭の中でいつも得る情報が点のまま蔓延ってるからだと思った
だから私はこれから点と点を線で繋いでいきたいなって思う。
今までの自分は真面目すぎと言われると、
もっと気楽に考えないと。
って違う自分にしようとしてた。
けど、最近は真面目な自分だから
今周りにいる素敵な人と巡り会えたんだと思う。
それに最近は真面目に考えてる自分を
たまに客観視すると笑えてくる。
それってつまり、自分の良いところ悪いところを見つめ直せるメタ認知能力が上がってるってことだ！
って考えると、自分成長してるなあと感じる

Denmark is getting cold and cold...to ready for winter ☺️
Everyone says, “ Hate winter, Love summer.”
Winter’s popularity in the world is at an all time low...because the night are long, the days are short...
however, I love it.
because winter seems to be a truly magical time of year. There are plenty of amazing wild highlights outside, such as snow, changing of colors and flocking birds.
and also winter is how it gets dark early and this is the best time to stay indoors where it is warm and cost.
i mean we feel like we don’t need to be a outdoor-person forcibly.
We can relax with great book or entertaining film, knowing that the frosty weather is safely on the opposite side of the window.
嫌だと思うことを、
自分の考え方次第で
いくらでも好きにできると思う。
It’s not easy but I don’t wanna give up.

First present for today is from uni actually...my today’s class was canceled ~haha
i felt uneasy about my class when I was about take a bike to commute to school...
so so I just checked the information on internet. And then my intuition was correct fortunately ☺️💓
