Devalue Happiness? - Happiest country Denmark-
Hej, This is Sami.
What I have been interested in is Happiness.
As for you, What is the Happiness?
Do you want to be happy?
How do you define Happiness?
In my mind, I have questioned toward myself.
I have been so excited to figure it out while thinging of it,
which make me realized my interests, happiness.
Needless to say, Every single person on the earth wants to be happy.
One survey found that happiness was rated the highest among 12 possible goals,
including goald like success, knowledge and material wealth.

「幸せとはなんだ？」
私はそんな疑問がいつも頭の中でぐるぐる廻っている
でも幸福についての勉強をしているとすごくワクワクする
誰かの幸福への道を切り開く、1つの助けになるのかなと想像すると胸が躍る
幸せになりたくないなんて人、聞いたことがありません
自分の幸せについて考えたことがあるかないかは別だけど

on Cousera, which is an online learning platform,
We might routinely sacrifice the happiness for other goals.
It calls "Devaluing Happiness",
which means not giving happiness much priority in our lives.
EVEN WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE WILLING TO BE HAPPY~~~!!!!

IMAGINE genie appears in front of you and offers you three wishes.
What wishes would you make?
According to his study, the top three items on people's genie wish
list are money, fame and success and relationships.
This makes you notice that people routinely sacrifice happiness for the sake of money and status, which are not sustainable for Happiness.

しかし衝撃の事実･･･
人間、「幸せになりたーい」と思っていながらも
「他のことを優先して幸福になることを犠牲にしている」だと！？？
例えば想像して下さい。ランプの魔神が現れました。
3つのお願いを聞いてくれるとのこと。あなたは何を願いますか？

トップスリーには「金」「名声」がランクイン
悲惨な事実･･･
「自分はそうじゃないよ」
と思っている人は、自分の３つの願いの中に、
「他人と比べて」もっとこうなりたい！もっと可愛くなりたい！
なんてこと言ってませんか？
それは持続的な幸福じゃないのです。
なぜなら、いくら人と比べてよくなっても何億人もいる人類の中には
確実に自分よりもさらにすごい人は沢山います。
人と比べて「よくなりたい」は命取り。幸せが逃げている証拠。

Dr. Rajagopal suggests you to Make Your Own "Happy List"
It means to Identify all the things that make you happy.
As studying it, I have felt like Dans unconsciously DO things in daily life
to make them happy.
For example, as might you know, HYGGE is a part of Danish culture.
They take it important to take your time and face yourself through
conversation or doing what you love.
In other words, they try to take enough time to see what make them happy.

ほうほう。確かに自分を見つめ直す時間を持つ、
心に余裕のある人を日本人で見るのは稀だなあ･･･（私を含めて）
デンマーク人を見てみると、HYGGEという「居心地がいい時間」を持っているわけであって、
「自分の好きなこと」を見つけるのが上手だなあ、、と感じる
それは、他人との対話を通して自分を見つめ直すデンマーク文化が影響しているのかなとも思う

Moreover, Do you know "The law of Jante"?
It is a list of ten simple rules, like the Danish Ten Commandments.
Children learn these rules very early in life as Jante Law is part of all Danish education.
In short, Dans value equality and community,
more than money or state.
However, when I talked with my danish frined about this law,
He said, "the law of Jante is real, but as for our generation,
it is not getting to culturally relevant"
Then as for current generation,
I am not sure how much the ten rules are influence to Danish nationality.
But For sure that Denmark has some tips how to be Happy🌸

「他人と比較して」自分に自信を持つことは厳禁❌️
それよりも、みんな平等だよ〜っていう考え方が根付いている
このルールを子供達に伝えるのがデンマークの教育
だけど、デンマーク人の友達に「このルールとっっても素敵！感動！！」
と話すと、彼は私の興奮に苦笑いしながら、、
「でも俺たちの世代には、このルールの影響力は薄れてきているかな」
これを聞いた瞬間、唖然。
こんな素敵な考え方を、引き続き受け継いでいってほしいし、
多くの人にとって、見習うことが沢山あるのかな〜と思います！
